The Dilemma of Patience and Time
We all seem to struggle with time.
We never have enough…It’s all moving too fast…
Then our patience takes its turn.
Time isn’t moving fast enough…
We don’t want to wait…
What seems to be lacking in any of these situations is the patience to use our time wisely and slow down enough to value the moment.
It’s easy to say things like, “Just chill!” “Honor the present!” “Be grateful!” But to successfully implement these efforts means constantly MAKING the effort.
Constantly reminding yourself to
slow down….Be present…Be less reactive and more proactive.
I encourage you take take first step. Even if it’s the 890th time you’ve taken it.
Stop….
Take a deep breath….
Access what is most important in this very moment.
If it isn’t what you are doing right now, give yourself permission to focus your energy on a task that is.
Give yourself the freedom to use your time wisely. To honor your time for the valuable asset that it is. This will allow us to practice greater patience for that which we can’t control.
Think of patience and time as the peaceful warrior. Still in full command but without the battle straining her.
I know you have the strength in you. You can gain control over your life. You can look forward to each moment as a gift that belongs to you! You can believe that your efforts are supporting your path. You can be calm force you long to be!
All it takes is continuing the practice.
I believe in you!
